Sunburn is presently Asia’s largest Music festival and how lucky are we that it’s held in India! Sunburn is not just a normal EDM festival but we get to see the fusion of music, crazy crowd, amazing food and a lot of shopping, could it get any better? SUNBURN KLASSIQUE: it was like a homecoming for Sunburn when it came back to Goa on 23rd and 24th February of 2019. Vagator hosted this edition of Sunburn and it was nothing less than interesting.
Some of the biggest names like KSHMR, Claptone, Midival Punditz, Almost Human, Richard Durand, Markus Schulz, Veronika Fleyta, Liquid Soul made this edition a huge success.
The tickets started at INR 3754 and were spread across various categories and included VIP tickets as well. The homecoming was indeed every bit grand and glamorous and highly praised by music lovers.

SUNBURN 2019: Asia’s biggest EDM festival will come with its latest edition in the last month of 2019 the tentative dates being 29th December to 31st December and bid adieu to the current year with a bang.
It is even more promising laying on a line-up of house, EDM and Popstars to create a magnificent ambiance. Recent lineups expected to be included are dance royalty such as Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike who will perform at the iconic stage having amazing visuals and pyrotechnics.
The entire artist line up is yet to be disclosed! It’s going to be GRAND and we can’t wait for it.

Sunburn is presently the third largest festival in the World and attracts people from more than 40 countries to India to experience Music and dance at its best.
The headliners of Sunburn 2018 were Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Snake, Alan Walker, Vini Vici and Krewella who all managed to perfectly heat up the festival.
The line-up of Sunburn 2018 included Axwell ^ Ingrosso and Vini Vici on 29th December, Armin Van Buuren, Nucleya, Salvatore Ganacci, Alan Walker on 30th December, DJ Snake, Krewella, Mencer on 31st December 2018.

The amazing artist line-up coupled with the beautiful weather of Pune attracted more than 3,00,000 visitors and over 100 artists. Sunburn 2018 was a perfect blend of music, entertainment, dance, and delicious food.
With the theme of “Welcome to Paradise” the 2018 edition of Sunburn presented amazing visuals and stages. It was coupled with after parties, adventure activities, bonfire, workshops, flea market!
Sunburn 2018 no doubt proved to be yet another memorable edition and was promising enough for the coming years to be even bigger and better.
Artist line up in the 2018 edition included:
29th December 2018: Axwell ^ Ingrosso- the duo comprises of Swedish House Mafia Members Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. They have under their name several awards and have performed at world’s best EDM festival Tommorowland.
Vini Vici- is an Israeli duo founded in 2013, having Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh who were originally a part of Sesto Sento project. They have released several songs on their SoundCloud account and have performed at many EDM festivals.
30th December: Armin Van Buuren: he is a Dutch Trance DJ and a producer also known as the KING OF TRANCE. He is one of the most famous electronic music artists and has performed in India a couple of times.
Alan Walker: is a Norwegian DJ who has performed at several other concerts in India most of the times along with Armin Van, in 2018 he became the top youtuber in his country.
Nucleya: Sunburn and Nucleya can’t be complete without each other, he is one of the most famous and top EDM artist of India.
Salvator Ganacci: is a Swedish DJ, he is known for his super energetic sets which makes crowd go crazy. He has collaborated with some big names of the industry.
31st December: DJ Snake: who doesn’t know DJ Snake? Credits to his latest single taki taki which featured Cardi B and Selena Gomez and got the entire nation dancing to its rhythm.
Krewella: is a famous American EDM band which has the amazing talent of mixing sounds and making the crowd go mad.
Mercer: this Persian DJ performed on the last day of Sunburn 2018 and performed his recent launched track live.
Apart from the above mentioned artist, DJ David Gravell, DJ Bliss, Afro Bros, Progressive Brothers, Divine, DJ Candice Redding, Louisahhh also performed at sunburn 2018.

The second edition of Sunburn was themed Electric Circus and was held on two main stages, Banyan tree and Circus Stage. The highlights were DJ’s Simon Dunmore, Shapeshifters, GMS, Garoth Emery, Pearl, Nawed Khan and several big names of the field.
Sunburn 2009 got a large crowd of 22,000 visitors and witnessed the launch of “After Dark” which was a kind of after-party held the entire night at a famous club, which made Sunburn a 24 hours festival.
Several IIT, Nit’s, IIIT and AIIMS got to witness many famous artists. BITS Pilani, Goa campus became the first college to ever host Sunburn on campus. The main target being the target, Sunburn campus trend perfectly managed to make the teenagers crazy about Electronic Dance Music. Following the trend, several other colleges hosted Sunburn in their campus few as part of their annual festival.
Now Sunburn is also called Tomorrowland of India
In was during the 8th edition of Sunburn that the festival was extended for an extra day wherein the super famous DJ Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed.
After facing few controversies in the home city, the 10th edition of this mega EDM festival was shifted to Pune, Maharashtra. Sunburn 2016 was held from 28th December to 31st December at Kesanand Hills, Pune and got a lot of attention owing to the artists that performed, especially Trance legend Armin Van Buuren, progressive duo Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack and Kshmr.
Since its launch year, Sunburn has been the most awaited time of the year, what a perfect way of bidding a year and welcoming the New Year!

Asia’s biggest electronic music festival gave the World three days of crazy music, dance and visuals from 29th December to 31st December at Oxford Golf Resort, Pune with Kingfisher being the presenting sponsor.

1. MARTIN GARRIX: Martin Gerard Garritsen famous by the name Martin Garrix is a Dutch DJ and producer. For three consecutive years, he was ranked the best DJ by DJ Mag. He has performed at several mega music festivals like Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Ultra Music Festival and others.
2. DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE: the Belgian duo comprises of Dimitri Thivaios and Michael Thivaios. They have won several International Dance Music Awards and are considered one of the best in the field.
3. DJ SNAKE: William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, famous by the name of DJ Snake is a French DJ and he rose to stardom by his catchy singles.

6. NUCLEYA: the Indian electronic music producer Udyan Sagar known as Nucleya managed to cover up the gap between Indie and mainstream music. It is their unique style which made them the voice of the nation.

Sunburn festival offers several workshops for visitors to learn something new and interesting. Puppet workshop, kite workshop, dream catcher workshop are organized to freshen up the mind of the visitors along with workshops for teaching musical instruments.
A range of exciting adventure activities are hosted before the event of the day begins. Adventure activities like hot air ballooning, Bungee jumping, giant wheel rides, zorbing, the mechanical bull ride and several other such activities help in keeping the crowd entertained.
How can I get discount on Sunburn’s TICKETS ?
Sunburn does an Early Bird sale of tickets wherein a limited number of both general and VIP tickets are sold and a person can save up to 35% if he buys it.
*general admission tickets cost INR 9,250 which allows access to the four days festival along with access to few After Dark parties.
*VIP tickets cost INR 15,500 and provide an elevated viewing area along with certain other perks.
The second early bird sale happens a bit later and the official sunburn website sometimes offers up to 20% saving on the tickets.
From where can I buy Sunburn Tickets at discount or early bird price ??
Viagogo is the official ticket buying platform for the International visitors and offers the Early bird general admission tickets at around USD 144 and VIP tickets at around USD 230.
A visitor can reserve Early bird ticket by paying 50% of the amount at the time of booking and the remaining price needs to be paid within 45 days. Sunburn also provides the facility of pre buying food, drinks and beverages coupons online at the time of booking the tickets.
Tickets are bought prior to the event after which the festival wristbands can be collected from right outside the box office on the festival day. A physical Sunburn smart band can be delivered to the mentioned address. A tampered band or ticket is not considered valid.
AGE LIMIT
Any individual of 15 years or above can attend the Sunburn Festival if the person has a proper entry ticket and a valid id card. However, drinks are served only to those who are above the legal drinking age.

THE HISTORY OF THIS FESTIVAL
Goa has been known as the party city since the 1980s where people got to witness live music at the beautiful exotic beaches and some mouth-watering dishes. And Sunburn was welcomed in Goa first. But obviously which city would have given this EDM festival such an amazing kick start if not Goa!
It was in the year 2007, Shailendra Singh sowed the seeds of the first International Dance Music Festival in Goa, India which was sponsored by Smirnoff and held at Candolim beach on 28th and 29th December.
The launch year of Sunburn got all the heat, credits to the performances from Carl Cox, Above & Beyond and Axwell. The acts were held on two different stages were music was played simultaneously, with Nikhil Chinapa and Rohit Barker being the over energetic and enthusiastic hosts.
