Another Scott-Lang adventure, Ant-Man and the Wasp was a charming and delightful film. No-one can resist Scott’s charisma in this movie along with the sizzling chemistry between him and Hope Van-Dyne. This marvel movie took an interesting take on sci-fi and quantum mechanics to build a tunnel to find Hope’s long lost mom.
And they added the perfect not-exactly-villain with a ghosting girl Ava and a great dumb enemy with Sonny, the buyer. Comedy was profound throughout the movie with ‘truth-serum’, Lang’s funny business associates, his lost FBI handler and the ‘University of Close Up Magic’ references.
The tone of the film was light and breezy, with some cute father-daughter scenes, but the plot at its heart was emotional and weight-carrying, a near-impossible combination to get right. And finally, the post-credits scene was the perfect bridge between Infinity War and Endgame.

Endgame saw a happy ending for some but left us all in tears as Iron Man’s prerecorded greeting played proving the known, Tony Stark has a heart. And then Captain Marvel decided to “catch some life” step down too. Families might’ve been reunited at the end, but the best thing the writers did in the movie was giving Tony and Pepper a lovely daughter who helped Marvel coin the term, ‘love you 3000’.
